Tea Chest - 6 slot

For those that appreciate the finer things in life, and the finer things about tea. Hand crafted from 100% solid American Walnut wood, we've designed our handsome tea box around the quality of all of our other keepsake boxes.

Dimensions:

Outside 9-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 4-1/4"
Inside 8-1/2" x 6-1/2" x 2-3/4"
Each slot 2-3/4" x 3-1/8" (just the perfect size)

Each slot comfortably holds 15 foil tea bag pouches, standing or flat, as you prefer. The top lid of the box is recessed 1" to allow standing foil packs not to interfere with the opening and closing of the lid.

The solid wood separators are removable, but have a snug fit...no rattling going on here! They can easily be removed if you wish to use the box for something other than tea (though it's hard to imagine). Inside bottom of the box has a soft simulated velvet black lining.

To maintain a clean and sophisticated look, rear hinges are hidden/concealed, and stop at 90 degrees to avoid the lid hitting the counter. Clear acrylic top lid allows easy visual selection of teas.

Please note that we do not use any stains on our boxes, we let the natural beauty of the wood grain and species speak for itself. Walnut it naturally a dark brown in color, with some light browns occasionally present. Sweeping grain patters are common. We construct each of our boxes with traditional glue and miter construction, with no fasteners present. All wood is sourced from sustainably managed American forests. We do not use ANY man made materials in our boxes...you will find no plywood, MDF, or any other type of other-worldly product.

Finished with two coats of non-yellowing water-clear lacquer for protection of the wood. Your grandchildren will be enjoying tea from the same tea box two generations from now.
